All point of views taken into consideration, I still believe Wal-Mart (particulary Wal-Mart of Greensburg, PA) is a joke. I work in the electronics department and strive to keep my customers happy, but this is not possible when I have to deal with so many incompetent mangers, including the high and mighty STORE MANAGER. My schedule is constantly fucked, resulting in many lone shifts, which is insanity within our department. These one man shifts during the day confront me with many a pissed off customer due to the lack of help. I shouldn't complain, at least this helps me squeeze in a workout during the week. More so I was practically forced to forget all return policies since with my team of managment they are null and void. EX: Customer attempts to return item that obviously does not meet return "qualifications ", so I do my job, stick to the policy, and decline the return. " I want to talk to a manager" the customer retorts. With a smile and understanding tone of voice I reply, " sure, no problem." Managment shows up if responding to the Bat Signal, accepts return to avoid any confrontation, and flees back into the shadows, leaving me standing their with my newfound discriminating reputation, and a nice fuck you face on my customer. None.
