: Our daughter lives in NJ. She has had a blue chow for 9 years+. Her in-laws live with her. Mother-in-law fell in love with Febreeze. Everytime the dog was in her apartment, after he left she would spray
: febreeze as an air cleaner. Two weeks ago the dog became terminally ill and died. My local vet has told us to get febreeze out of our house and forget it even exists. He said there are numerous reports of liver and kidney failure. If it is this harmful to pets, is it also harmful to small children and pregnant mothers?

That is how my dog died after I used Febreze. Her liver and kidneys failed.
