I have received letters from Proctor and Gamble and the ASPCA concerning this product. There has been no documented cases of problems with it and animals but the makers warn that since birds are highly sensitive to ALL CLEANING PRODUCTS, you should not use it in areas where birds are present. I hope this helps you and I hope your daughters bird is better. None.
