I think it is always good when a little guy wins any concessions from a big guy. However, it seems that you McFellas are learning your first lessons about how the corp. world works and how many people live. McDonalds and many other corps. (NOT JUST FAST_FOOD) need to be changed. But in our society, the employer has most of the rights and always will. If you think this is going to change, move to China. My suggestion is that you try to open a small business of your own and survive for 5 years. If you can do that w/o hurting anyone, or violating any worker's "rights," I will tip my hat to you. But you will find out, as Ray Kroc did many years ago, you cannot run a business and be a "nice guy." It doesn't work. People, especially workers and suppliers will take advantage of you to no end. But I am glad you shook MAC's up a bit. This is the same thing the hippies of the 60s and 70s fought and sang for and maybe now all you Xers will appreciate that effort a little more. My friends and I protested against many unjust working conditions in the old days and continue to support these efforts. But realize THEY are paying YOU and until you have other income, be careful what you do. You may get "blackballed" from any other fastfood joints and then you'll have to become a professional protestor or maybe even a college student!
