: Just because McD's is a large multinational, it does not make theft acceptable. If you are condoning theft because you don't agree with the way a company operates, then you are an idiot. If someone burgled your house, would you help them carry away your stuff, and say "take it all away guys - property is theft" ?

Trolly Dollies N. Ireland,

I'm really glad you asked this question. Back in the days I gave a patronizing smile to left thought because in reality I had no clue
as to what they were saying. When I heard they were against private property, I was like, "Dudes. What's so wrong with me having ownership
rights to my pants. Would you really like that they be owned by the
state and shared among all...."?! Fortunately I kept an open mind and
eventually figured out they (most of them except Kropotkin I think) were against private property -economic organizations, not necessarily
personal property, such as my shirt.

Getting back to your question, I hardly think that my shirt is oppressing you, or that you should have
rights to it. Whereas private property on the other hand is a completely different story, as it involves bosses routinely thieving wealth that belongs to those (pl.) who create it.

And another thing, would you right wingers stop glibly telling us to get another job when we say that we have problems with our current employment. If you check your economics book you should know that
most likely the places we work at now are the best we could sell ourselves for in the market.
