Working at mcD's.

Ok, i'll admit working at mcD's is not the best thing in the world. I'm a crew trainer and there are times when i hate going to work but there are times when i actually like it! I see a lot of others complaining about working at McDs, and i also see others "joining in" who don't have any idea as to what their talkin about.

I've been working for McD's for about 4 yrs its really not that bad....there's the McGold Card program, at my restaurant free movie nights once a month, crew parties and crew incentives, Working in an air conditioned kitchen/restaurant {big deal right? try working in a kitchen thats not air conditioned}, great fellow crew members, flexible schedule, and great managers.

At my store, we are a McFamily like many other stores, for other Canadian restaurants, ever read "Canadian Crew"? If not tkae a look at it.

But as i said ealier, there are times when i hate my jobs, not because of my fellow crew but moslty cause of ignorent customers who think they are better then the other customers..Its hard to deal with the public on a daily basis, smiling at the rudest customers trying not to let it get to you, but sometimes it does.

I've read other messages of other workers complaining bout their jobs, and maybe their right and have a reason to but remember NOT all managers are assholes, NOT all crew steal and NOT everyone hates their job! Every McDonald's Store is different! Some of as actually like our jobs and the people we work with. I like my manager and probably wouldn't be there if it wasn't for him.

In conclusion working for McD's isn't that bad i don't know bout other markets/regions, but at my store we have rap sessions where we meet with the area supervisior to discuss the good and bad of working at McD's and we have a complaint, its dealt with and fixed For those of you who have problems with your managers goto your head office, they won't ignore it!
