: McSpotlight: OK, now the steam is let off a bit, please can Qx and everyone responding to Qx's posts please tone it down and keep the debate to argument not insults.

Dear McSpot

Over the last few weeks, you have come in for a lot of flak over your "comments" after posts. I know that Qx is shouting from your side of the street, but why do you wait until Julie blows her lid before asking for it to be toned down ? Has not Qx gone off at the deep end before now ? It seems that because Julie has erupted, you have decided to weigh in.

Qx has dished many insults here, all of them pass through without comment. Now Julie flies off the handle, and she is treated like some irrational idiot. It is my opinion you slipped the mini slap of the wrist for Qx to pay lip service to impartiality. The arguments that develop with Qx are hardly ever about the content of his posts, or his views. It is the way he makes those comments ! And when someone has had enough and flips out, you lot take your feet off the table and dish out a cyber spanking !

I realise this is your site guys, but if you're going to moderate it, do so fairly. I know Qx is the darling of your Debating Rooms, but admit it, he is an irritating asshole at the best of times, who cannot appreciate that we all have a perspective. If all you want here are narrow minded people, then you aren't going to get much debate, just soap box shouting. And if that's all you want, then ppl will soon stop visiting, which would be a shame.

To conclude, if you're going to get the fire extinguishers out, point them at the base of the fire - not the flames.....

Yours sincerely,

TD
