I aggree with the sentiments laid out. When I first started I was working, at times, twenty four hour shifts, if we had a big visit on.

Then I broke my back whilst working in the store. (For legal reasons I cannot say who's fault it was, that's for the courts to decide.) They had me caught up so badly, I carried on working when I was back on my feet. The day after I broke it was the day they pulled British beef in all uk stores.

That was in the April of 96. In the September of 96 I warned that I was working too hard, and that it was affecting my heart (They were aware of the fact that I had a heart condition. One night, the night before a big visit, I left at 3:30, and had a cardiac arrest at home. When I rang them to inform them that I would be off for a while as I was having a pacemaker fitted (I was 22 years old at the time) they got really put out, because they had a visit on. I left at Christmas that year, as I found that I had 18 year old yellow badges on more money than me, and i had been working there longer, opened more stores, trained more crew, yet because I had a big mout (!), was gay, and was suing them, I was treated like shit. If yopur're reading this, and are just being promoted at McD's, get out now, while you can
