This well guideline is in effect at my store cause McD's don't want managers to have "favorites"..after all you're there to work not socialize...They also don't want relationships forming causeing uneasyness among the crew...my manager and I {were both males, so the romance thing is not an issue} are great friends...he tells me he looks forward to seeing my name on the schedule, i know his family,..we act like father and son...the crew knows it along with other managers, they know that we hang out sometimes off of McD time...it dosn't bug them cause my manager doesn't treat me differently then the rest of the crew..I still have to do my fare share of the work, I still get bitched at if I'm rude to others or I slack off big time....So I don;t understand why McD's would have this policy..their always promoting "McFamily" its like they are contradicing themselves...we're too act like family, but we can't be friends??? the hell with that!!
