A basic for McD's management is to know your QRG inside out. (Quality Reference Guide). This mini bible tells you instantly if there is a "performance discrepancy". So, you soak up all this useless info like a sponge (after all, it is a REFERENCE guide ? To be REFERRED to ?)
Info like:-
the slice height of a bun, or finished product troubleshooting, such as PROBLEM "Cheese not melted" POSSIBLE CAUSE "Buns placed in toaster too early.
OOPS - It says on the front of my QRG that any unauthorised use may result in civil or criminal prosecution. That's me in the slammer when I turn up for work tomorrow !
