: its obvious to me that you have know comprehension of the word quality. All companies have quality standards. the purpose of this guide you are referring to is to ensure the same quality standards from store to store. this is what makes mcd's the best fast food restaurant in the world. unfourtunatly there are managers like yourself that don't care and are the cause of customers concerns with quality at mcd's. why don't you quit and go work for BK.

Dear Mike,

First off, I didn't need a QRG to tell me when a bun wasn't correctly sliced. Do you think I got out my ruler, and measured it ? Also, if the cheese isn't melted, I think I am capable of finding the source of the problem without reaching for the QRG. My point was, the QRG contains a lot of useless crap. It insults the intelligence of thinking people like myself that have the ability to walk upright and count without using fingers.

And as for joining BK, nah mate. I have a new job, which pays more, for less hours and allows me to be creative, not part of the machine.

And while we are on the subject, can you explain why the gap between BK and McD's is closing fast, and McD's are concerned ?

Gill
