Hi Mike. I know exactly what your talking about as I have seen fast food employees act that way. The kids where I work do not engage in horseplay and yell curses like what you saw (that I know about anyway), however one thing that the night crew constantly does that really gets on my nerves is when there are no customers on line, they will all hang out by the drive thru window drinking soda and talking and laughing so loud you can hear them in the far corner of the store, even in the cooler you can hear them. Now, we allow the employees to get a drink whenever they want as long as they have a free minute and they don't even have to ask. And there is no problem with crew talking to each other and laughing etc...thats all fine, but sometimes it comes to the point where they get so loud and rowdy. The last thing a customer needs to see is the crew fooling around. All we ask is that they don't talk so loud or curse so customers can here. Well, they get the point and they now have a little more respect for everyone else so its not so bad.
And it's only the night crew. The day crew is a dream come true. Don't get me wrong, I do like the kids who work for us at night, most of them always do what they are suppossed to, I just hate it when the talking gets too loud but we explained to them nicely that we won't tolerate it and its a lot better now
