: So my question to you: should maanagers date crew in risk on favortism, ackwardness and decite? where do you draw the line?

Morris: I had a general manager (age 30) that eventually left his wife, the mother of his two children, and married the 17-year-old crew member he was banging. Both were quickly sent to other locations. It worked out nicely for them (I crashed their wedding), but in y case, I avoided it at all costs, the most obvious reason being: If you are in a position of power, there is ALWAYS somebody beneath you who wants to have you fired.

I ought to know... Over the span of eight years, there have been no fewer than one dozen different crew members who cried to the general manager about some "high crime and misdemeanor" I've perpetrated. It's usually in the form of a note that begins "Last night, when I came in to look at my schedule...", then lists things like the place being unclean, unsanitary food practices, or accusations of stealing money. All were quickly laughed off. But, knowing people have such a hangup over sex, I didn't wish to give my accusers any ammounition to use against me. It could be dangerous. After all, look at President Clinton!
