I thought all workers were trained to do things like this

The server has to bring any food or beverages to the customer that would take a few minutes to make (Ex: Customer orders 3 twenty piece McNugget Meals, it would take about 5-7 minutes on average to make the mcnuggets if the store did not have enough McNuggets on hand for such an order). Any reasonable crew member would have told the customer to have a seat in the dining room and that he/she would bring the food to them as soon as possible. I thought all workers were trained to do things like this as a common courtesy. I guess not.
