: Screw the management. I make $6.25 US and have friends who make $7.00. The economy is so high everyone is hiring and McD's can't afford to lose workers. Before I go to school in the fall I'm telling them they give me at least $7.15 or I quit...: No job is worth killing yourself over...esp. a crappy one like McDs.

In the U.S. I am sure they might be forced to pay up to 7$ an hour, but this is still far to less. I have been working at McDonalds in Denmark for two years, where McDonalds has signed an agreement offering all staff above 18 years 100Dkr an hour, which is about 12-14$ an hour. Sure the system is different, the income taxes are higher, the welfare is higher, the prices are higher, but still. Just organize, and some day the world will be a more fair place to live.
