WHY DOES McSPOTLIGHT DELETE MY MESSAGES?

Posted by: mike sabolick on November 30, 1999 at 18:15:39:

hello to anyone that is reading this message. I've been posting messages here for a while, and now i come back and am unable to find one of them. Great idea to have a debate room where the other side is not allowed to speak. i'll go somewhere else from now on.

McSpotlight: Feel free.

Basically, the only reason we delete messages is if they are a) pointlessly abusive b) irrelevant or c) both.

We say this pretty clearly in the index page.

For example, if you just post a single-line comment abusing another poster for their views, it will get sent to the reject bin. If you send something pointless or totally unrelated to the subject, we will also junk it.

We are a moderated forum; and always have been.
