I doubt it's real foie gras - too expensive

I don't eat foie gras as it is cruel, but I find Americans who eat nothing but filth dumping on French food - which in general features far more vegetables, no hormone-treated meat and less processed cheese, not to mention soft drinks - a bit beyond the pale.

I agree with Cleveland Amory that foie gras is cruel. Few of my friends in France eat it either, moreover, it is terribly expensive.

The McDo probably serves paté de foie which isn't the same thing at all, it is no crueller than any other cadaver-based product.

This should be in the McDonalds section, not the section on workers and labour conditions.
