We have incentives like that

: You guys are lucky. We don't get anything for special perks, unless you consider "McBucks" are perk. We get nothing for working weekends when we could be with our families, when no one else will work. I always wonder why the people who are more specialized (ie. can open the store, close the store) do not get some kind of incentive, a small hourly bonus. The local factory where I work gives its second shift people a small 25 cent incentive to work the hours of 3:30 to 12:00. I know that we just provide a service to the people, and that our owner only makes a million or two dollars a year, but I think there should be some incentive.

Our store pays the people who are available to close four nights a week 6 dollars/hour. This does not mean they WILL close four nights a week, they just have to have that as their availablity. Also, our maintenece people make 7 dollars an hour. We have incentives like that, and it sure does seem to keep everyone happy
