: Hi! my name is Glen, I was just reading your coversation and you wanted to find out what a Crew Chief's role is. Well a Crew Chief is the same as a manager but a little bit different, a Crew Chief can only be in charge of one of places Front or the Back. This is the same as a Crew Trainers role but a little more advanced.

: Glen Day - Crew Trainer (Promoted to Swing Manager in two weeks).

the crew chief is probably the most abused employee at McDonalds. Approximately two years ago I was promoted to Crew Chief I was pretty happy since I figured I would finally get to move into management. It was only then that I realized that I would be pushed into all the responsiblities of a swing manager but with the pay of a Crew Chief. I was supervising my own shifts, closing and opening the restaurant everything but was told I was not ready to be promoted. I could not understand why someone who was considered unready to become a manager was given all the responsibitilies of one. Cheap bastards
