A bungle over a cash promotion could cost burger giants McDonald's thousands in
extra prize money.
Stewart Jamieson, 24, of Rutherglen, near Glasgow, claims he scooped £2110 after matching eight stickers from Coke cups. But he was given the brush-off because he was sold promotion material from last year. Last week, McDonald's paid £750 to Audrey Sykes, 28, of Armadale, West Lothian, even though she was sold out-of-date material. McDonald's said they were investigating. |
