Hey to disappoint you, but I don't hate the world today, not by a long shot. The world is richer, people live longer, and people are smarter, than they've ever been before. Do you realize that just two hundred years ago most people couldn't read? That the life span was probably something like thirty?

I think we might be taking things for granted here. Even this web page, in which peoples separated by oceans can freely debate issues would be considered a miracle a hundred years ago.

On a side note, I was in Bergen, Norway for a week this summer. Pretty nice, and the weather was great!
