I would suggest reading texts like Michael Parenti's Against Empire or Noam Chomsky's Deterring Democracy to give you an idea of why people feel that capitalism(the USA in particular) is responsible for the destitute conditions in much of the world. Then perhaps, you can offer a reasonable counter argument. Shame on you for trying to inflict shame without reason
