My specific reference was to Lark's comments that Gee and myself are utopians. Given that I've said things like 'a particular political system will never free us from the human condition' calling me a utopian is absurd. Human nature is a continuous trial and error process of improvement; both individually and socially, and the two work together.

I don't need particular references to see that many here, as did More, advocate the overthrow of many customs and institutions from antiquity. I guess my main point is that humanity can never liberate itself from its humanness, thus, its quirks and faults. Utopianism thinks otherwise.
