: Get a clue.

SDF: Let me be the first to suggest that calls that Frenchy "get a clue" are wasted bandwidth, for reasons which will be specified below.

: No one here is defending Maoist China, and no one is defedning stalinist Russia, and the most I will say about post-Stalin Soviet Union is that they did some thinsg right and others wrong. please try and note the mdoels that teh socialists on this board are defending.

SDF: Why should Frenchy do so, when it's so much more fun for him to smear us with something we're not, like he was the defender of some sort of dictatorship-in-wait intent upon crushing our right to free speech with his McCarthyist tactics?

: The late great Red Deathy defended none at all, he was a perfectionist who held out for an ideal of socialism that had never been achieved. Me, I don't go so far; my favorite models of socialism are Daniel Ortega, Thomas Sankara, the Kerala communists, scandinavia, &c. "Democratic communsim" or "democratic socialism" in other words. SDF, as far as I can tell, supports the Sandinistas

SDF: Well, yes...

: and Allende

SDF: Allende's Chile was a mixed bag, as Paulo Freire reports in Pedagogy of Hope... I'm really a Freirean...

: but mainly is in favor of the Green ideology.

SDF: It's really a set of values, it can encompass things you'd probably like...

(skipping)

: Does that make it clear enough? Why keep beating a dead horse that we buried long ago?

SDF: Because Frenchy is a troll.
