By the present logic, a resident of Auschwitz would have had no rational cause for complaint, unless he had:

1) Familiarized himself fully with Mein Kampf
2) Had some basic training in Nazi metaphysics from some accredited university
3) Was recognized as at least an educated layman by Nazis knowledgable on the topic of death camp management.

I have read Das Kapital, have more than a passing familiarity with Marxist political philosophy, and think myself fairly knowledgable on the topic. Without this basis of information, however, the nagging and repetitive slaughters, destruction, and other nastiness that seems to follow communists like a plague would give me cause to question them a tad.

The scorn (and, if you REALLY hit a nerve, the death threats) immediately follow. Strangely, it still seems worth the effort to question them. Perhaps a symptom of pompous buffoonitis, deeply repressed.

McSpotlight: You read *all* of Das Kapital, rather than a digest? Without dying of old age and/or boredom? Gosh.
