Bigger doesn't necessarily mean more influential. The question is, which country's films insinuate themselves more into other countries' consciousnesses? Hollywood, to be sure.

Also, don't underestimate our Bill. He may have a problem with his libido, but he's otherwise as shrewd as they come, and Blair copied the Bill Clinton model in his campaign for PM.
