Extortion and terrorism

And why did the Sandinistas 'lose' to Chamorro by the way? Might it have anything to do, perchance, with the US-bacekd terrorism and extortion? That's teh most dsgusting policy i can imagine. the US basically told these guys, "You can vote teh way you want, and get ravaged by more of our terrorists, and see your babies get murdered befroe your eyes, or you can vote for our stooge, and we'll give you money, lots of it".

Funny, when an indivcidual does that, it's called extortion. When the US Government of Ron Reagan did it, it was called hard-headed foreign policy. I guess I just don'et see the difference.

(Not that the US money flowing into Nicaragua has done them much good. Ever since 1990 the country has gone to hell in a handbasket. But what can you expect from a Liberal Party government? The Liberal party, including the free-marklet fascist Aleman, is the party of Somoza. Aleman is the spawn of Somoza; what do you expect from a man like that.)
