Sorry to contradict my McSpotlight associate but
the reason that some people are having problems
viewing certain pages is not really just down to
the monitor quality, PC - MAC compatibility or
just the number of colours, but the way certain
web browsers deal with colours which are not in
their current pallet.Netscape V1 (for the PC) and I assume IBM Web Browser
and maybe some others attempt to achieve colours not
in their pallet by dithering the available colours
which often makes the pages illegible!THE SOLUTION
------------Either increase the colours to thousands if your
machine can handle it, or better still, upgrade
your web browser or use a different one.I find that Netscape V2 works fine, which is
available free to download instantly to educational
establishments or charities, MS Internet explorer
and Mosaic work well too I think.Anyhow, good luck and if you get any further problems,
