                                                                  DAY 212

                                                   KIM MOFFATT, Examined:

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is the position -- suppose someone in
their gap year between school and university comes and
       works for ten months?
       A. Then they will get four months' worth.

  Q. But then the time comes when they say: "Right, I have got
to stop work next week, because I am going off to college"?
       A. If they are leaving the store, then they have to be
terminated; so, when they come back, they have to then
       rework their six months again.

  Q. But what happens to their holiday pay? Suppose they have
worked for 16 weeks after -----
       A. They will automatically get it.

  Q. They automatically get it?
       A. Yes.

  Q. When they leave?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Even if it is -----
       A. They will be terminated from the store under a code
that automatically gives them their holiday pay.

  Q. Just pause. (Pause) Is there anything on their final
       payslip which -----
       A. Yes, it will say "holiday pay".

MR. RAMPTON: What would happen if somebody left without notice?
       A. They would not receive it.

  Q. They would not?
       A. No. You have to work your full notice.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is the notice, again, for an ordinary
       crew member?
       A. It depends how long they have worked. It is two
weeks. It depends how long they have worked. It is all in
       the Crew Handbook.

MR. RAMPTON: Miss Moffatt, I am suffering because I do not have
page numbers. In the Heathrow file, could you please turn
       to page 89?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Have you got it? I do not know. Miss Moffatt, I find
these things difficult to read along the line, because it
has so many entries. But this is the pay period from
       11th September 1994 to a fortnight later,
       24th September 1994.

I can tell you that so far as these documents show, that
was the last fortnight during which Mr. Beech worked for
McDonald's. He appears as a row of noughts in the next few
       sheets, and then he disappears.

If you look at this page, eight names up from the bottom of
the page, we see "Beech A". Have you got him?
       A. Yes.
