Day 212 - 30 01 96 - Page 34

                                                                  DAY 212

                                                   KIM MOFFATT, Examined:

  Q. Does the same go for the crew meeting and the notes of the
       crew meeting?
       A. Yes. You get marked on the crew meeting as to how long
it is after -- it has to be a month, no more than a month
after the rap session; so you will get marked on that as
       well, the date of it.

  Q. Now, just by way of comparison, can I ask you to look at
page 186, which is in the same tab, I think?
       A. Yes.

  Q. It is for a later date. It is a year later, roughly; it is
6th October 1994. Although the layout is different, the
heading is the same, and I think the words are the same.
In the middle of the page, "Section 5, communications and
       recruitment"?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Then, here we find "rap session date", there is a blank.
Incidentally, this is done by somebody called Jane Jarvis,
who is described as a Human Resources officer. Now, what
       is a Human Resources officer?
       A. I would say from Head Office, from personnel.

  Q.   Here we see there is a blank for the rap session date;
there is a blank in the box for the notes?
       A. Yes.

  Q. And the score out of 50 rather than 60 on this occasion is
       nought?
       A. Yes.

  Q. What would be the reason for scoring nought out of 50? It
may be obvious, but you just tell us?
       A. Basically, if there is no rap session date, then it
looks like they have not had a rap session; and, obviously,
if you have not had a rap session, you cannot have notes
produced on it, so they would get nought. Obviously, if
you have not had your rap session, you cannot have a crew
meeting and notes on that; so that would be nought as well.

  Q. Then, if you look just up a bit above that, under the
section "Crew facilities", you see, last entry under "Crew
facilities", "Uniform supply, storage and condition", then
there is a dash and they have written "Door locked, no
access, nought out of 20". You were not there at the time?
       A. No.

  Q. But if it means that they could not get in to see the state
of the uniforms, et cetera, would that automatically mean a
       nought out of 20?
       A. Yes, it could do or, you know, it could just be the way
they are stored or -- but yes.

  Q. Right. Then, please, go back -- this is again in the one
of 12th October 1993 -- to page 167. In the middle of the
page under the heading "For hours of work regulations" --
       got it ---
       A. Yes.
