                                                                  DAY 212

                                                   KIM MOFFATT, Examined:

  Q. -- "employed under school leaving age", apparently nobody
because they have got 30 out of 30. Then there is an entry
"Schedules" and then a bracket, "to include Sundays
worked, breaks due and total hours for all hourly paid
employees". They get 30 out of 30 for that. Can you tell
me what it means in the brackets "to include Sundays
worked, breaks due and total hours for all hourly paid
       employees"?
       A. Basically, for crew members they can only work three
Sundays out of four, so what you would do with the schedule
is add up how many hours they did that week, and put in how
many hours -- if they did 39, you would write in 39. If it
was the first schedule of the month, if they work a Sunday,
you put "1"; on the next schedule for the next week, if
they worked another Sunday you would follow it on by
putting "2" and so on, so you can track how many Sundays
       they are working that month.

  Q. How many are they supposed to work in a month?
       A. Three out of four.

  Q. Not more than three out of four?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Then it says "Breaks due". What had you taken that to mean
       when you do these audits?
       A. The breaks taken; make sure that people have taken
their full 45 minute break, if they are working, it depends
on what shift they are working and if they are working over
10 to do the 45 and 20 minutes and, obviously, you mark
about when the breaks are taken as well.

  Q. Is that something you would expect to see from the
schedules or do you look at the clock card file?
       A. The clock card file.

  Q. Yes. Then it says "Total hours for all hourly paid
employees". What does that mean? Do you see, at the end
of the bracket, "Total hours for all hourly paid
       employees"?
       A. Sorry, I have not got that.

  Q. Against "Schedules", do you see, page 164?
       A. Oh, sorry, yes.

  Q. After "Breaks due" it has got "and total hours for all
       hourly paid employees", what does?
       A. That is basically just totalling how many hours they
       are scheduled for that week.

  Q. This is supposed to be on a piece of paper, is it?
       A. Yes. That is on the schedule.

  Q. Supposed to be written in?
       A. Yes, you have basically got the schedule, Monday to
Sunday, then two boxes. One would be to input how many
hours they have been scheduled, so you total it up, and the
other is to input the Sundays.
