                                                  PAUL LEMAIRE, Examined:

  Q. Did you hear Miss Moffatt's evidence about the notice
       boards in the crew room?
       A. Yes, I did.

  Q. Is she correct that there were two?
       A. Yes, there are.

  Q. Was the one for crew members' use the one facing you as you
came in the door, which is what she told us?
       A. Yes, it was.

  Q. Will you look at paragraph 10? I remind you that Mr. Beech
says that there was a large poster with red writing on it,
and it was there for about a week, containing some
anti-union message, I think. You say: "I have never heard
any mention of unions during my time at the store nor a
poster of the type described by Beech"?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. That is in all the time you have been at McDonald's?
       A. All the time.

  Q. You were orientated as a crew member or, I ought to ask
you, when you started did you have an orientation?
       A. Yes, I did.

  Q. Did you go through one of those checklists that we have
       been looking at?
       A. I went through the check list and the videos that went
       with it as well.

  Q. Did you have the crew book shown to you?
       A. I was given a Crew Handbook and was told to read it.

  Q. Was it explained to you, any part of it?
       A. It was explained to me, like, bits -- check list that
they had, like, different sections about breaks etcetera
and I started to read the rest.

  Q. Since you have been working at McDonald's, which is a long
time now, as an hourly paid -- you are not any more -- but
when you were an hourly paid worker were you conscious of
       your holiday entitlement?
       A. Yes, I was.

  Q. Did you know the exact percentage that was added on to your
       pay?
       A. I did not know the exact percentage. I knew it just
       went up every payslip, depending how many hours you worked;
the percentage I was not sure of.

  Q. Did you also know what breaks you were entitled to if you
       wanted them?
       A. Yes, I did, because it was in the Crew Handbook which
       I read.

  Q. Have you got the Heathrow file there?
       A. Heathrow documents.

  Q. Yes, the Heathrow documents, that is right. Can you look
