DAY 213
PAUL LEMAIRE, Cross-examined:

Q. Have you been told to criticise John Nevison?
A. No, I have not.

Q. That is the line, is it not, of all the McDonald's
witnesses in this issue ---
A. Not to my knowledge.

Q. -- "Go in there and criticise John Nevison"?
A. Not to my knowledge, it is not.

Q. Your recollection is that you worked longer hours under
John Nevison. Can you go to the documents in the Heathrow
file. I am not sure what it is called.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Before you pursue this, you had better find
out whether the hours prevailed also under Mark Riley
because, do not forget, John Nevison was only Manager for
four months, and the period when he was Floor Manager --
and, I have been told, working 40 to 50 hours -- would,
therefore, mostly be under Mark Riley.

MR. MORRIS: Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I correct that. About five months would be
under Mark Riley, about four months under John Nevison; and
then, thereafter, until he moved on, you worked under
Dave Roberts?
A. That is correct.

MR. MORRIS: The long hours that you worked under John Nevison,
did that apply to Mark Riley as well, when you were
Floor Manager?
A. Not really, because when I was under Mark Riley it was
just for a couple of months.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What hours then?
A. 40 to 50.

Q. 40 to 50 under Mark Riley?
A. Under Mark Riley.

MR. MORRIS: Have you got those documents at the back? There is
a great long file of 90 odd or 100 documents. I have not
checked them under Mark Riley.

If you look at page 1, this is the period at the end of
October 1993, beginning of November 1993. You worked,
I calculate, 114 hours in that fortnight. Just take my
word for it that the figures are correct.
A. OK.

Q. So that would be 57 hours a week. If we go on to the next
fortnight, you did not work; you got nought for the whole
lot. The one after, on page 7 -- that I have just looked
at now, I had not checked before -- it is over 111 hours
for a fortnight period; yes?
A. Yes.

Q. I have not checked the rest. That was under Mark Riley.
