Day 213 - 31 01 96 - Page 6

                                                                  DAY 213

                                            PAUL LEMAIRE, Cross-examined:

1 If you go to the back, pages 68 and 73, 3rd July 1994, that
2 would have been when Dave Roberts was the Manager; yes?
3 A. That is when he just started.
     4
5 Q. He had just started. That was 94 hours. That is on
6 page 68. On page 73, that was 98 hours; that was for
     7 17th July onwards. Page 82 -----
     8
9 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not go too fast, because I just want to
10 make a note as we go along. It saves me necessarily
    11        looking them all up again later.  So page 73, 98 hours;
12 that is 17th July 1994 to 30th July; yes?
    13
    14 MR. MORRIS: 17th July.
    15
    16 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.
    17
18 MR. MORRIS: Yes. Then 14th August onwards, 92 and a half
    19 hours.
    20
21 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Which page is that?
    22
    23 MR. MORRIS: Page 82.
    24
25 MR. JUSTICE BELL: How many hours do you get there?
    26
27 MR. MORRIS: I make it 92 and a half. I was approximating.
28 I am quite prepared to accept, if anyone adds them up and
    29 finds them slightly different.
    30
31 Page 86, which is 28th August 1994 onwards, you did
32 106 hours in a fortnight -- the sixth one down on the list,
33 seventh one down on the list. There are some weeks where
34 you worked quite a few hours, so you must have had a week
35 off or something, or days off.
    36
37 Then 97, which is the last one, I think, 9th October 1994,
    38        which I think is the very last sheet, you worked 115 hours;
39 that is under Dave Roberts.
    40
41 So, do you accept that, basically, you worked the same kind
42 of hours under -- if I put it to you, did you work, in
43 reality, the same number of hours over that period of time
44 with Mark Riley, John Nevison and David Roberts?
45 A. Dave Roberts occasionally; not as much as Mark Riley.
46 I did more hours for Mark Riley and John Nevison than
47 I have done with Dave Roberts. There is only a couple of
48 times that I have gone like -----
    49
50 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not speak quite so fast, and keep your
51 voice up. Say that again.
52 A. With Dave Roberts, I did, like, a couple of long
53 shifts, like 114 or 110, but it was more constant with
54 Mark Riley and John Nevison.
    55
56 MR. MORRIS: As far as your memory goes?
57 A. Yes, that is correct.
    58
59 Q. These documents, you accept these as accurate documents?
    60 A. Yes, I do.

                                      6
