  Q. As you have probably noticed, this is not a very good court
for hearing in. Can you find, please -- sorry, I have not
       got the reference.

MR. RAMPTON: I am grateful to your Lordship.

It should be a document with your name on the top, "Semir

       A. Yes, that is correct.

  Q. Can you look at the last page, which is page 6? Has it got
       a signature on it?
       A. Yes, it has.

  Q. Is that yours?
       A. That is mine.

  Q. Have you read this typewritten statement recently?
       A. Yes, I have.

  Q. Are its contents true?
       A. Yes, it is.

  Q. Just a few preliminary questions, Mr. Khazna, and then one
specific thing. You joined McDonald's in 1982, you tell us
-- I am looking at your statement now, paragraph 1 -- as a
part-time crew member at the Enfield store while you were
       still at college?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. Did you get a degree?
       A. No.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What was the answer to that question?

MR. RAMPTON: "No". You became a full-time employee, you tell
us, in 1983 when you left college?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. What was it that decided you to join McDonald's as a
full-time employee in 1983; do you remember?
       A. I enjoyed the job I was doing, and I was getting a lot

       store?
