     1   MR. MORRIS:  That will be the same for the other supervisors in
     2        the southeast, would it?
     3        A.  London South, yes, that is correct.

     5   Q.   The Area Supervisors that are working in the Midlands
     6        region, they would be based in the Midlands?
     7        A.  There is a Midlands office, yes, but the main office is
     8        the London branch.

    10   Q.   Is it main because it is the biggest or is it main because
    11        everyone is expected to put in some time there?

    13   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  It is the Head Office, as I understand it, of
    14        the Second Plaintiff, of McDonald's UK.
    15        A.  That is correct, yes.

    17   Q.   It doubles as the nerve centre for London and the
    18        southeast ---
    19        A.  That is correct.

    22        A.  Yes.

    28        southeast get to know each other because they see each
    29        other at the East Finchley office?
    30        A.  On occasions.  But I am based with X amount of Area
    31        Managers in my region, and we have our meetings; we meet up
    32        once, twice a month.

    34   Q.   All I am saying is, the Area Supervisors who have Area
    35        Managers under them -- yes?
    36        A.  No.

    38   Q.   The Managers are Store Managers?
    39        A.  That is correct.

    41   Q.   Sorry.  Yes.  The Area Supervisors for London and southeast
    42        physically go to the East Finchley office, you know, quite
    43        a lot; they have got their paperwork there; yes?
    44        A.  I could not answer for every Area Manager, because
    45        depending on where they live -----

    48        A.  I can only speak for myself.  I live very local to
    49        East Finchley; so on the way home, or sometimes I do
    50        schedule myself to be at the office just to check my mail, 
    51        post, and get some paperwork out of the way.

    54        The Area Supervisors in London and southeast, if they want
    55        to talk to other Area Supervisors, the place they do would
    56        be at the East Finchley Headquarters; yes?
    57        A.  It could be, or over the phone.
