                                                                  DAY 213

                                            SEMIR KHAZNA, Cross-examined:

       A. I really could not answer that. It depends on the
structure. There are area Managers and there are General
Managers now, and there are Ops consultants.

  Q. Do not Area Supervisors talk to each other informally and
chat about what is going on in their region?
       A. I do not talk to every Area Manager. I might know some
of them by face, but I do not know everybody.

  Q. Everybody keeps themselves to themselves, do they?
       A. I generally stick to my own group, consult within my
own region, because I am London North.

  Q. It is a useful line of questioning. You do not sit in the
canteen and talk to other people in the same position as
you in the Company: "How are you getting on in your area?
       Have you got any" -----
       A. When I go to the canteen, I like to go with people that
I know, so we sit and we have something to eat. I tend to
go to the canteen with another Area Manager from my own
group or maybe with my senior.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You seep saying Area Manager. Is that Area
       Supervisor?
       A. Yes, sorry; that is correct, yes.

  Q. I mean, they interchangeable to you, are they?
       A. Area Manager is -- sorry, an Area Manager and Area
       Supervisor is the same; correct.

MS. STEEL: When you took over as Supervisor for the Heathrow
restaurant, or including the Heathrow restaurant, you were
brought in especially to deal with the problems that were
       being encountered at the store?
       A. Initially, I was consulted by my senior; yes, that is
       correct.

  Q. These were problems that had occurred when Mark Riley was
the Manager -- because that was when you took over?
       A. Sorry, can you repeat the question?

  Q. The problems at the store were something that had occurred
during the reign (for want of a better word) of Mark Riley
as the Manager of the restaurant?
       A. No. Most of the incidents that occurred were under
John Nevison, which, in the period that I had, were not
getting any better. I had to put it right.

  Q. But when you took over, that was at the same time that
Mark Riley got promoted from Manager of the store to being
       the Supervisor?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. So, the problems that were at the store cannot have been
       the responsibility of Mr. Nevison?
       A. The problems at the store, my initial finds were, they
       were short of staff.

  Q. They cannot have been the responsibility of Mr. Nevison?
       A. Well, when John Nevison got to the restaurant, the crew
