                                                                  DAY 213

                                            SEMIR KHAZNA, Cross-examined:

     1 A. It was on a day-to-day basis.
     2
3 Q. But, I mean, when you say day-to-day, are you talking about
4 once a day, once a week, once a fortnight?
5 A. Could be two, three times a week.
     6
7 Q. Two or three times a week?
8 A. Not the same staff.
     9
10 Q. Right. How many staff, just a couple or -----
11 A. It depends which shift; if it was a day or -- depending
12 on how many they were short of, then whether Feltham could
    13 supply, they would have.
    14
15 Q. What was the maximum number that you remember being
    16 transferred, approximately?
    17 A. About four.
    18
19 Q. About four, right. But, generally, it would be one or two,
    20 would it?
21 A. The four I mentioned I am referring to, like, per
    22 shift.
    23
    24 Q. Four per shift?
25 A. At the most I would probably say is four in one
26 particular shift was asked to go to work one shift. It
27 could have been an evening shift.
    28
29 Q. Yes, but what I am saying is you say it happened two or
30 three times a week. Generally, on those two or three
31 occasions, it would be, what, one, two or three people?
32 A. Between three and four.
    33
34 Q. Between three and four, right. Just moving on through your
35 statement, in paragraph 7 you say that it became
36 increasingly clear to you that Mr. Nevison was not going to
37 succeed at the store: "While I tried to help him and
38 develop his management skills, I felt that he was not being
39 honest with me and was hiding the problems with staffing
40 and discipline, but there were also quite large unaccounted
41 cash discrepancies". Are these all quite serious problems?
    42 A. The cash discrepancy?
    43
    44 Q. Yes.
    45 A. Yes, it is.
    46
47 Q. It is, and the other things, that he was hiding his
48 problems and he was not being honest with you?
49 A. I find that being dishonest with me, yes.
    50
51 Q. That is a serious problem, you consider it to be?
52 A. If my Manager is not being, communicating with me, then
53 I find that a problem working in that environment, yes.
    54
55 Q. Did you have some kind of personal fall out with
    56 Mr. Nevison?
    57 A. No.
    58
59 Q. No? This was all on a business level?
    60 A. Professional basis.

                                      47
