                                                                  DAY 213

                                            SEMIR KHAZNA, Cross-examined:

       A. On frequent checks it occurred again.

  Q. Right. Did you take any disciplinary action against
       Mr. Nevison?
       A. I spoke to him verbally -- nothing in writing, no.

  Q. Right. In paragraph 10 you say: "So far as long hours are
concerned, it was certainly not the case that staff were
scheduled to work excess hours". I mean, does this apply
to the whole of the time that you were Supervisor or just
       part of it?
       A. Yes, on my visits to restaurants, I would, because it
is a very -- if you look at the layout of the restaurant,
it is just one floor -- I would always go round and check
the crew room, look at the schedule, if it is posted up on
time and the hours that have been scheduled which is
       totalled up.

  Q. Right. That does not really answer the question. Are you
saying that for the whole of the time that you were
Supervisor of the Heathrow store staff were never scheduled
       to work excess hours?
       A. They were not scheduled to work, no.

  Q. But they did work excess hours?
       A. Some would have, yes.

MS. STEEL: Is it possible to have a five minute break?

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

                         (Short Adjournment)

MR. MORRIS: You say that you were in charge of the Heathrow and
       Feltham stores ---
       A. That is correct.

  Q. -- when Heathrow Feltham people were being trained at
Heathrow and then moved to Feltham?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. Was that your decision to do that?
       A. What, to train the Feltham crew at Heathrow?

  Q. Yes.
       A. It was the nearest branch to Heathrow, so it made
common sense for the people to travel to work.

  Q. So it was your decision?
       A. And it was my own branch, so I could monitor it,
       obviously.

  Q. OK. It was your decision?
       A. Me and my seniors, yes.

  Q. You and your seniors?
       A. Yes.

  Q. You are saying that you came in to help out a Manager who
was new deal with some problems, serious problems, at the
