                                                                  DAY 213

                                            SEMIR KHAZNA, Cross-examined:

and 35 as starters, the employee numbers run from 00994501
to 00994534, and include all of the numbers between and
inclusive of those, and, of those, 26 of them appear on
page 44, sorry, it is actually on page 45; it is the same
       date and page 46 -----?
       A. Most of them have got zeros.

  Q. Yes.
       A.  That means that they have come off Heathrow's payroll;
until the summer is finished they were -- sorry, they will
stay on this until they are, if my calculations -- my
memory is right, for a pay period and then they will be
cleared off the Heathrow payroll. Maybe that might show on
       the next .....

  Q. On the next one there are still 18 of them on there; that
is on page 50, I think.
       A. They are still with zeros.

  Q. Some of them are with zeros, they are not all with zeros.
That is for the pay period from the 8th May to the 21st
       May.
       A. I do not know how many of them are still unpaid or how
       many with zeros.

  Q. Why would they remain on the payroll but with zero pay?
       A. Well, as I said earlier on, the 34 that you mentioned I
said -- I never said that they were all Feltham. I said
       probably about 20, 25 that possibly are Feltham's crew;
       some were Heathrow's.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are being asked -- and there may be a
ready explanation -- granted that they did not do any work
and had not accrued any pay at Heathrow so they get noughts
all the way through, why remain on the payroll summary at
all if they are now on a payroll summary at Feltham?
       A. The only possible solution -- the only reason I can
come up with is that they have gone on to Feltham's payroll
and they are on Feltham's payroll, but they have not been
deleted off the Heathrow one yet.

MS. STEEL: Why would someone delete some of them but not others
of them, because they are not all on there?
       A. Because they have not all been deleted.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Point out one which you have in mind.

MS. STEEL: I have got a chart that is kind of -- it is quite
       hard to say.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pick a number. You see, for instance,
if one looks at 45, 994518 and 994521 are starters on page
35; they are still on 45 but they do actually get paid.
They have done -- well, I am not sure.

MS. STEEL: Well, on the -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: One of them did not do any hours, but has a
net pay of £14.40 -- I would like to know what his secret
is -- and the other one does do some hours and a crew's
