DAY 213
SEMIR KHAZNA, Cross-examined:
night is £17.90. So, for instance, it might be, but I do
not know, that Mr. or Miss Sawyer was actually a starter
who, however, was to stay at Heathrow, but I do not know.
(To the witness): Do you know what the solution is?
A. It is -- some were, some did stay at Heathrow and a
small proportion of crew were hired for Heathrow at the
same time.

Q. But, rightly or wrongly, you say the ones where the noughts
are who were starters on 35 but are noughts on 45 or 46,
the inference you draw is that they are people who have
gone off to Feltham?
A. Yes. I mean, there is one name that comes to mind
I know very well; it is -- and I know this person did go to
Feltham when it opened up but it is appearing on the zero
hours.

Q. What I suggest, Ms. Steel ---

MS. STEEL: Who is that?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- if you have an example, you think, which
tends to disprove what Mr. Khazna said, put that to him and
we can see if there is an explanation for that.

MS. STEEL: Can you just give the name of this person that
you-----
A. Yes, I am just trying to find it for you. I have seen
it. His surname is Wasseem.

Q. How is that spelt?
A. I am just trying to find it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Speak up, please.

THE WITNESS: I am just trying to find his name. It is Wasseem.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not think he is (if it is a him) on 45
or 46.

MS. STEEL: The first one afterwards, after the day they are
taken on, is the one on page 37. I do not know whether --
you cannot see him there?
A. No, I saw him earlier on this morning.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Employee numbers - do you know whether they
are allocated on a national basis by the English British
Company?
A. So far as I am aware, each store has got clocking in
cards, plastic clocking in cards issued and the numbers are
issued from the restaurants.

Q. It does not matter. I suppose the 99 and the 44 may have a
meaning and then the last 3 numbers may be consecutive in a
particular ......

MS. STEEL: I think the last 4 are because there are some 44s
and some 45s.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.
