DAY 213
SEMIR KHAZNA, Cross-examined:
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, do.

MR. RAMPTON: -- which arises out of this recent
cross-examination which I think, perhaps, portrays a degree
of confusion. Perhaps I should not make that comment.

Re-examined by MR. RAMPTON, Q.C.

Q. Mr. Khazna, have you got there the Heathrow file? Have you
still got open those payroll summary sheets? I am just
going to take you to some examples. I am going to ask you
to assume that the figures I give you are correct so that
we do not all sit here and wade through the documents.

Take, for example, page 55 which is the end of the payroll
summary for the period 22nd May to 4th June. Have you got
that?
A. Yes.

Q. It is dated in the top right-hand corner as 7th June. This
is still dealing with Mr. Nevison's period. I can tell you
that (and I may not have added them up entirely correctly
but they are as near as damn it right, I suspect) there are
listed for that payroll period, which is a fortnight, 130
names altogether. Of those 130 names 43 have zeros against
them, complete zeros, and I looked for that under the
labour charge column which shows, I take it, they did no
work during that fortnight?
A. That is correct.

Q. Leaving a total who actually worked during that fortnight
of 87 people?
A. That is correct.

Q. I am going to ask you a question in a minute; do not worry.

MS. STEEL: If it is any help, I agree with those figures.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, thank you.

MR. RAMPTON: Page 60, although there are in that payroll
period, again still during Mr. Nevison's time, this is
5th June to 18th June -- I am trying to look at periods
where the Feltham effect has, at any rate, gone through to
some extent -- there are 118 names listed, there are 33
complete zeros with a total of 85 who worked during that
fortnight. Then please ------

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Sorry, 118?

MR. RAMPTON: 118 listed. I counted 33 zeros.

MS. STEEL: If I just say, I might be wrong, but I have got 118
with 29 zeros. I may be wrong.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will just make a note of it anyway.

MR. RAMPTON: There is a difference of arithmetic but I make it
33, making 85 or it might be 89. No matter for the
question I am going to ask you. Then, please, turn to page
