DAY 214
DAVID ROBERTS, Examined:
two files, that is the clam part of it. They are connected
as such, but the top part is separate. It is it is like
one solid grill but with two clams on it.

Q. That is what I am asking?
A. There are two full grills there.

Q. I can see four little jars there, as I have described
them.
A. Yes. They are the actual pull down section of it.

Q. Yes. Are there four separate pull down sections?
A. On that side there are, yes.

MS. STEEL: That was not what I did not understand. What I did
not understand was -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No. It was what I wanted to understand.

MR. RAMPTON: Do not worry. I will sort it out. There are two
flat grills at the bottom, to the side?
A. One flat grill. The other one was a clam shell grill,
but it was not actually used as a clam shell; only the
bottom part of it was heated up.

Q. Where do the eggs get done?
A. On the grill that says "flat" and on the other one that
says "prep table", but what was actually a grill.

Q. Where was the sausage cooked?
A. The sausage was cooked on the one that says "clam shell
griddle", which is directly north of the grill that says
"flat".

Q. Each of those jars (as his Lordship calls them) has a lid
which can be operated independently?
A. That is correct, yes.

Q. So you could have anything from one to four in operation at
a time?
A. You could have -- on the one grill, you could have
two. So you could, in effect, have four grills, four of
the clam shells working in one go, yes.

Q. Could you use one at a time?
A. Yes, you can, yes.

Q. So you could isolate one, let us say the furthest one on
the right, to the east, and not use any of the other three?
A. That is correct.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is possible, is it not, for instance, to
cook quarterpounders on a grill and then go over to cooking
regular burgers on the grill?
A. Afterwards, on the same grill?

Q. Yes.
A. Yes, you could do it. You would have to adjust it, but
you could do it.
