                                                                  DAY 214

                                           DAVID ROBERTS, Cross-examined:

Malik is a Dining Area Hostess, like Manager.

MS. STEEL: Is that a lobby hostess or is that different?
       A. Well, it is different definitions for different
stores. I call them Dining Area Managers.

  Q. Is it the same thing?
       A. Yes, it is, yes.

  Q. Right.
       A. Matharu is a Floor Manager -- sorry, training squad,
sorry; Khanzada is a Dining Area Manager; East, both of
       them, are Floor Managers.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Who was the Dining area Manager?
       A.  Khanzada.  Kaur, K-A-U-R, is a Dining Area Manager;
Passamonte is a Dining Area Manager; Shaw is a Floor
Manager; Abbas, both of them, are Floor Managers; Sandhu is
a night cleaner; Owens is a training squad. He is on the
       next page.

  MS. STEEL: Whereabouts?
       A. Owens, about the sixth one down. Tito is a night
       cleaner.

MR. MORRIS: James did 85 hours premium, so would James be a
       night cleaner?
       A. Sorry, where was that one?

  Q. Just above Tito?
       A. Yes, Victor James, sorry, yes, that is right.

  Q. I will ask a silly question, but is the "J. Nevison" just
       under Tito -----
       A. That is John's sister, Joe, who used to work for me.
His other sister worked for me as well later on. I think
that is probably it. All the rest of them would just be --
       they are all crew.

MS. STEEL: Right, OK, thank you.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Two o'clock.

                       (Luncheon Adjournment)

MR. MORRIS: I was going to propose that we finish after this
witness, because of the circumstances. I had an indication
from Mr. Rampton this morning that he might take something
like a couple of hours in cross-examination of Mr. Beech.
So I do not know if that can be confirmed, that there is no
       danger of over running tomorrow.

MR. RAMPTON: I do not think I have ever said that to anybody.

MR. MORRIS: I got that from -----

MR. RAMPTON: Then there is a muddle.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let us just think about our timing, whatever
       the situation may be.
