DAY 216
KATHERINE HARRISON, Cross-examined:
is wrongly dated; it is dated 14th October 1984, whereas
the year in which it appears is 1985. Never mind that. It
reads: "Grill area, burned arm on toaster, Kate Scannell,
female, 21, crew member, burnt grill on toaster." Do you
see that?
A. Yes.

Q. Is that you?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you remember that accident?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you know whose writing that is?
A. No.

Q. It is not yours, is it?
A. It does not look like mine.

Q. No, it does not. So somebody else has put that in the
Accident Book on your behalf, have they not?
A. Yes.

Q. Then 961 AG, which is another four pages on.
A. AE?

Q. AG -- 961 AG.
A. Yes.

Q. Again, bottom of the page, 11th August 1986, which is
somewhat less than a year later: "Meat hopper, electric
shock, Kate Scannell, female, 22. Occupation, CM" -- crew
member, I suppose that means, does it not?
A. Yes.

Q. You have apparently got a dead arm. Do you remember that?
A. Meat hopper? No, I do not remember it.

Q. You do not remember it?
A. No.

Q. Do you not remember getting an electric shock while you
were at the Colchester McDonald's?
A. Well, I -- meat hopper?

Q. Do you remember having a dead arm?
A. I cannot recall it, no.

Q. Is this your writing, or is this somebody else's?
A. No. That is my writing.

Q. That is your writing. So do you think it is likely that
you did, in fact, have that accident and wrote it yourself?
A. Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: Thank you, Mrs. Harrison.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there any re-examination?

MS. STEEL: Yes.
