DAY 216

Re-examined by the Defendants

MS. STEEL: You do not remember the last accident, but do you
remember whether or not you ever get burned at the
Colchester store, apart from that accident that was listed
there, or whether you ever got any cuts?
A. You might have got little burns from the grill or small
cuts, but you did not bother recording them.

MS. STEEL: OK. No further questions.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you, Mrs. Harrison. Just leave
everything there.

(The witness withdrew)

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is Mr. Harrison here?

MS. STEEL: He is not. I actually thought that it would take
longer than that. He was not able to get here until
12 o'clock because of getting the children organised with
school.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What can we do, if anything, in the next
50 minutes?

MS. STEEL: Can I just say, the other thing is that I would
like to be able to speak to him for about quarter of an
hour.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We will make an allowance for that. But, as
I say, what can we do in the next hour?

MR. MORRIS: We can do the Lynval and Mark Ryan Civil Evidence
Act statements, if the court thinks it is appropriate,
since we are here.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. I find those with Miss Lamb, do I?

MR. RAMPTON: With Harriet Lamb's statement.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: 29 in volume 2. (Pause) Right.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I know that I have two objections to
Mr. Lynval's statement. Unfortunately, neither
Mrs. Brinley-Codd nor I have our copies here in court.
I can tell your Lordship which they are from memory,
though. One is on about the third page.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: There is no objection to Mr. Ryan?

MR. RAMPTON: None at all. I can do it very quickly. On about
the third or fourth page, nearish to the bottom, there is a
passage about unions ---

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just let me make sure -----

MR. RAMPTON: -- which I think refers to Chiswick.
