                                                                  Day 236

week and we just could not do it in the very short time
that we were given that we found out about Mr. Monroe, who
was due for today and tomorrow.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Leave that there for a moment.

MR. MORRIS: We are sorry about that.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Never mind. We have got, I will just use
their surnames; Watson on Monday, Monbiot on Tuesday, and
Mr. Secret is now confirmed for Wednesday, as I understand
       it.

  MR. MORRIS: Correct.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Query Thursday. Friday the 26th, Mr. Rose,
who I had anticipated will be a very short matter, but
there is a question of your Civil Evidence Act witnesses,
the ones which you decided now will not be coming to
       England.

  MR. MORRIS: That is correct.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: And there may be legal matters. Then you
have Carrier on Monday the 29th.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: At the moment, we have got nothing on the
       30th or 1st May.

MR. MORRIS: We were asking for those for preparation days
because Anne Link and Richard North on the 2nd and 3rd were
both confirmed. Obviously they require a bit of digging
up previous transcripts and documents and whatever, as they
are new issues, or revisiting old issues.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That reminds me, in one of your letters or
faxes you referred to possible supplemental statements in
relation to Watson Monbiot and/or Secret. What is the
       position there?

MR. MORRIS: Watson and Monbiot were served on the Plaintiffs
last night and I have got better copies here for yourself.
       (Handed).

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. What about Mr. Secret?

MR. MORRIS: We are hoping to see him tonight and to see if he
has done a further statement. He said he would. So we did
say within 48 hours from yesterday, so ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Then there is a public holiday on Monday the
       6th.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Preston on Tuesday the 7th. At the
moment nothing on Wednesday the 8th. Dr. Campbell on
       Thursday the 9th.
