Day 237 - 18 04 96 - Page 39
MS. STEEL: Right. Okay.

MR. MORRIS: That was the demonstration that you were on in
October 1990?
A. Yes.

Q. At the Head Quarters?
A. Yes.

MS. STEEL: What pickets have you attended at the Head Office?
A. Most of them, I think.

Q. Can you just give us the dates of all the ones that you
have attended?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Use your statement if you want to, either
the first one or the one in tab 3. I am not suggesting
that they are all inclusive but ----

THE WITNESS: '88, '89, May '91, October '90, May '91, October
'91, October '92, October '93. I was there in '94 but I
did not take a lot of part in it and I was not there in
'95, last year.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What about October '87?
A. Yes, I think I was there; yes, my Lord.

MS. STEEL: And is that it?
A. That is it.

Q. Right.
A. I must admit, they all run together after a while.

Q. What do you remember about the pickets on the 16th October
1987 and 1988?
A. I must admit, not a lot because they were not very
big. As far as I remember, they were not very big and I
did not attach any particular importance to them other than
to preserve the fabric of the building.

Q. When you say they were not very big, what do you mean by
that?
A. Well, I think there were about a dozen people there.
That is all.

Q. About a dozen?
A. Yes.

Q. On each on them?
A. I do not know who was there. I cannot identify anyone
who was there at that time.

Q. A dozen on each of them?
A. That is just my recollection.

Q. Were they there when the Head Office was open? What time
of day, can you remember that?
A. No. I imagine it would probably be the same time four
to six on the 16th October, or thereabouts.
