Day 249 - 14 May 96 - Page 27

  Q. They are clear as day, you can distinguish between them,
what was happening on each day; is that right?
       A. I think so.

  Q. You think so?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Did you personally get any leaflets on this day?
       A. No.

  Q. Were leaflets collected by anybody?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Who collected the leaflets?
       A. Terry Carroll -- I do not know who collected them, but
       he collated them.

  Q. And did that include the leaflet complained of?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Did you speak to the solicitors in the next few days and
give them copies of the leaflets?
       A. No, I do not know whether I did.

  Q. You remember doing it for 1987 at some stage?
       A. Yes.

  Q. But you do not remember speaking about it in 1980?
       A. No. I had probably spoken about it, I used to meet
       with them once a month.

  Q. What for?
       A. Various things. I was more or less responsible for all
litigation that the Company got involved with and Barlows
were our main litigant solicitors, so I was there, I would
say, at least once a month.

  Q. All litigation -- you are talking about just, kind of,
       libel threats or...
       A. No.

  Q. All stuff?
       A. All stuff.

  Q. Right. How long were you watching this demonstration for
       in 1988?
       A. At least ten minutes on each occasion.

  Q. The 1987 one, were you there standing outside for the whole
       picket?
       A. The whole time.

  Q. That was 2 hours -- about 2 hours?
       A. Probably 2 hours. I was outside over 2 hours,
London Greenpeace was not there for 2 hours.

  Q. So it was London Greenpeace, definitely?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Right. That is the same for 1988 as well is it?
