: I do not "fear" death. That I think is the MAIN REASON why people invented religion and god, so they would feel at ease when thinking about death. However, I mostly feel that death is nothingness, and I won't be around to feel that nothingness, so I don't fear it.: Don't get me wrong, I don't want to die, just like everyone else, because it means an end to this life, no more breathing, no more eating, no more sex, and no more debating on computers. But that is why I don't want to die, because life is great, and I don't want it to end. But I am not going to spend this life wondering about the next one, and never actually live this life to its fullest.
: The reason why I ask this question is I want people to think. Think about what christianity is claiming, and show why it doesn't make any sense.
: I choose to follow something that makes sense. We live, we die, and the next lifeforms get their chance, and our chance is over. So make the most out of your chance!

Everything created cannot be destroyed. That is science. It can change but in some form or another goes back into the universe. This is one of the reasons for the o-zone problem. On that basis, what makes you think that when you die that you don't continue your existance? In fact the very thing about God that proves the respect he shows for us is that we ultimately make the choice of where we go. Hell is not some place of fire and brimstone it is eternal seperation from God. He gave us a choice to love and acknowledge him. If we can't stand his very name or presence when we are physically alive, what makes you think he would force us to hang out with him when we die. Since all things created have a creator, everything we see touch and feel is ultimately His. If we choose not to dwell in Him, then we choose to be apart from Him. It is our choice.
None.
